Common sense is not so common…

Common sense is not so common…

…In particular when politics are involved. The Right and Left are both disconnected from reality if they don’t do something the 80% of us in middle understand particularly since both want the same result for different reasons.

Left

  • Save energy to save the planet
  • Saving energy saves the planet
  • Regulate to save energy

Right

  • Save energy to become more independent
  • Saving energy saves money
  • Remove regulations so we can be more energy independent.

Realities energy is expensive and taking a larger bite out of everyone’s wallets. Encourage clean home grown energy. It makes economic and environmental sense. Imagine a

US

with clean, renewable and low cost energy it would be better for us and our children while cutting off funding to the oil producers. If the

US

invested in this in could be a technically important as the first computers to the world. This is regardless of your viewpoint on global warming.

For my part I have been doing a little every week in a way that can be paid for by the incremental savings. Therefore all Americans can do so.

In addition I help those around me by helping them save money and as well as help the country and the world by helping them do similar projects.

I encourage what I believe is the majority with common sense to post.

Do one thing a week and take some of savings and do something else until you have made a large impact on your wallet while helping the country and the world.
